Weird spot on my dogs leg?

My dog Boone has had this weird spot on his leg ever since we got him(3 weeks ago). Can someone identify this spot and let me know if it's something bad. It doesn't seem to bother him but it looks kinda nasty.

Looks like a kennel sore. It may go away. Hard to tell online. If she just came from the kennel then a general checkup from the vet is probably in order soon anyway.

It may just be a sore from a kennel or that hasn't healed yet because of it's location. It kinda looks raised from the second picture and if so may be something completely different. I'd have your vet look at it to be sure. There are certain types of tumors and growths that can look like that as well. Its probably isn't anything serious, but better safe than sorry.
