I'm mostly a lurker around here, but I'm hoping some of you may be able to cross post this. Mea is a 1 year old chocolate pit bull (the SPCA has her listed as a pit bull lab mix, but I've taken her out several times and I don't think there's any lab in her...) that is at my local shelter. She was given up because she was 'to much of a dog' and chewed when left alone. She needs someone who can handle all her energy. She's got a lovely disposition and loves affection and covering people in huge pittie kisses. She seems to do very well with other dogs.
The shelter is becoming quite full, and Mea has been there awhile so I'm not sure how much time she has left. I'm just a volunteer so if anyone is interested in adopting her they'll need to contact the shelter. It's the Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA just outside of Harrisonburg Va. Here's the shelter's web site:
And her pet finder page:

Thanks so much!
Why buy from a breeder when there are plenty of homeless pups in shelters???
