Hi everyone! I'm Sarah, and I live with three great pitbullies/mixes. The oldest is Anna, aka The Princess, who is probably a pit/boxer mix. I found her as a scrawny pup eating garbage out of my trash can. Now she is 8 years old, and her favorite thing to do is give you kisses. Then there is TeddyBear, aka Momma's Boy. I adopted him from the shelter at 5 months old, and he is almost 7 now. He is a big boy, probably mixed with some American Bulldog. His favorite things are to go for car rides and to snuggle up with momma under the covers in bed. Last, but certainly not least, is the newest addition to the family, Karma. She is just about 4 months old, and has been here 5 weeks. I found her at the Oregon Humane Society while doing some volunteer work there. I had lost a beloved doggie companion less than a week before. I can't even put the whole thing into words, I just knew FuzzyJack had his paw in leading me to this little black and white pitbull pup. So here she is, full of life, mischief, and love. She drives us all crazy sometimes, but she is wonderful. I am blessed with all my furkids.
Also meant to say.... Anna and TeddyBear are certified therapy dogs, and Karma is a therapy dog in training. I work as a physical therapist in a nursing home, and the dogs all go to work with me every day. The residents and staff LOVE having the dogs around. Karma has become the particular favorite, being the baby. I have everyone trained as puppy trainers....
!!! No petting for Karma unless she is sitting, no mouthing allowed, use the word "off" if she jumps up.... its hysterical. All my patients and therapy co-workers are helping me train the puppy!
OK well I've rambled on long enough. Woofs!!!
