Dog Hair?

Postby m52au » Fri Jul 16, 2004 12:55 pm

I take Romeo almost everwhere I go. If you look in my backseat all you will see is dog hair. So what is the best way to clean up dog hair?

Brushing him regularly can cut down on that. Also a high quality feed can lessen shedding. What does he eat?

Beau's been shedding some recently. His is due for a bath though...and I probably don't brush him often enough.

He eats IAMS. (the yellow bag, puppy formula)

I used to feed IAMS. It's a crappy food. Look at your ingredients.

m52,

I take a roll of duct tape and roll it around my hand sticky side out to pick up what the vac won't in the car. If you really want to get industrious you can unbolt most cars front seats in about 2 minutes, then you can get all of the build up by the console and under the seats.

Whoa! I was under the impression that Nutro was MUCH better than IAMS.

Your right Nutro is better, but when comparing Anthrax to the Eboli Virus which would you want?

Excuse me for being ignorant, but whats so bad about Nutro? I can never figure out what freakin food to feed the dogs...one group says one food is good and the other says that food is the devil...its frustrating. As far as I know, you want the first few ingredients to be meat, and then look for food with no corn, and then look for a small ingredient list. Oh yeah and no beat pulp...

Check the thread on top of the Health forum if you need info on a good diet and where to find the kibble.

And as far as the anthrax vs. ebloa goes, I choose anthrax, because there is a vaccine/treatment for that one!
