Can anyone tell me the dosage per pound of this supplement? Pookie is 43 lbs. I got some for myself and want to give it to her too.

Have you tried asking your vet? I'm sure they'll be able to give you an answer quickly. I tried searching the net but came up with nothing :(

I use K9 Liquid Health Glucosamine. Liquid is said to absorb better than powder or pills.

Sorry I'm not much help.

Concrete, is this the dry powdered supplement? I have one that's just pure Gluc/Chondroitin in powder form, it's called Get Up and Go, and I have a bottle at home. I can double check later what dosage for under 50 pounds is, but Reba gets half teaspoon in her breakfast and another half at night.

I don't know if all of these supplements are created equal, though, so I don't know if it applies to what you're using.

I give 1 pill at breakfast and one at dinner for sonny and jesse. for a human i would take 3 pills, but for a 80lb and almost 86lb dog, i give only 2 a day.

I just checked my bottle and it says that dogs under 50 pounds should get 800 mg per say, which is the equivalent of 1/4 teaspoon.
