today I took my puppy for some running outside today.about an hour ago I looked at his paws and on one of his fingers it was a deep red.I dont know what this could be but it cant be good.Has anyone else had this problem.thanks

Honey's toe's do this. Her pads get dark red sometimes as well.

Was it wet outside? Is it tender? Does your dog flinch or pull away when you touch her paw? It could be a simple raw foot. A little Vaseline or bag balm will help with the irritation.

Other than being red, what does your paw look like?

Is it the pad or the toe? Is it red under the nail? Like the nail is transparent and that's where you see the red?

It could be irriated. My dogs get that from time to time. It usually goes away in a day or two. Try putting some vaseline or bag balm on it and see if that helps relieve some of the redness.
