Pit Bull Events

Does anybody know if there are any pit bull rescues or events that exist or are happening in the Toronto (Canada) area? I'm really interested in volunteering for a pit bull rescue if one even exists. I used to volunteer for a humane society on a regular basis before I moved and I just miss that warm and fuzzy feeling I get when I'm helping out.

I am in Toronto.. And i volunteer for Barlee's Angels, an all breed rescue with a focus on the bully breeds. Our directer, Jen, is based in Guelph, but our volunteer base is located throughout Ontario. What type of volunteer work were you looking to do?

As far as events..we have one coming up very soon! It's called Barleepalooza, it's our annual fundraiser, all money raised goes towards the animals we rescue. I believe Jen has posted about it already here, but i/we will post about it again very soon, with full details. We could definately use some help organizing this, maybe help me put up some posters in the toronto area? We also really need some items for our silent auction as well!
