Gypsy is a 1 year old, spayed female Pit\AmStaff mixie. currently residing at the Blue Earth Co. Humane Society (Mankato MN). Gypsy is a great, fun loving dog, who needs a little work, but would be a great addition to just about any home. Gypsy is a little food agressive, and would prefer to be either the only dog, or fed seperately from others. She would also do well in a home with no cats, or small children. During her time at the shelter, Gypsy has been crate trained, and taught her basic commands.. Sit, Stay, STOP BARKING!, Heel, and a few others. She is currently learning not to jump on people. She's very smart, and catches on quite quickly. Gypsy is also a very affectionate, very loving dog, who wishes she had someone to be with on a constant basis (I, and other staff members at the shelter can only be there for so long in a days time, and we have at least 13 other dogs, plus an average of 40 to 45 cats who need our care and attention), but she is definately thirilled wit the time we do spend with her. Gypsy loves to go for walks, or sit on a lap, she also loves to cuddle up with a nice warm person in her kennel, she also loves to wrestle and play, but she gets a little rough (Thus, we recomend a home with older children, as Gypsy would be very likely to hurt a small child, though, it wouldn't be intentional). She is also house-broken, and loves to spend a lof of time tied up outside, she loves snow!! If you're interested in Gypsy, please contact Monica, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the shelter at 507-625-6373.
