Meet Tank!

Postby TCoop » Sat Feb 11, 2006 4:51 pm

Hello! My husband and I just adopted 'Tank' a 6 month old APBT from our local shelter. He is such a good boy and I am stoked to have him in our home. I thought joining PBF would be good... It seems like a very positive place for APBT owners to unite!!

Thank you all for the warm welcome!! My little Tank is still at the shelter. He has a case of kennel cough and has to stay there until he is well enough to be neutered. Luckily, I am a vet tech and know people who work there... I'm allowed to visit him every day until he can come home. I'm counting the days until he's here!

Funny thing, I almost adopted a pit bull named Tank. He was an awesome dog and stayed with me for a day, left for a vet visit and then the foster dad never contacted me back or answered my calls. Awesome dog, wish I would of got him and hope he is okay. Hope you have good luck with you guys' tanks!

Aww, we had this happen to us late Dec/early January also. Our puppy Jake had kennel cough and had to spend an extra 1.5-2 weeks in the shelter before he was well enough to be nuetered.
I'm glad you can visit him every day, we visited Jake on weekends (he was an hour away).
Congratulations and THANK YOU for adopting!
