Sad sad day

Postby SKoth » Tue Aug 24, 2004 11:20 am

Some of you may remember me posting before about my Mal pup. Well, today it was confirmed that she is suffering from renal(kidney) failure. We are unsure if it is a congenital defect or possibly lepto. I don't know how long she's going to be with us but I'll do everything that it takes to keep her comfortable. This is especially sad because she is only 5months old. If any of you have had experiences with this before I would love to hear your stories. Thanks guys!!!

Oh Sarah! I'm so sorry to hear that. What awful news. She has had a good life for the short period she's been around though. My heart goes out to you.

I'm very sorry to hear of the bad news. It is never easy to hear such a thing about a beloved pet but it must be even worse when it is a young dog.

Thank you for all of the kind words. This is a very hard thing to go through but it's made better when people reach out to you. She definitely has had the most wonderful life a pup could ask for and I will continue to provide that for her. I just hope that I will have the stregth to say goodbye when the time is right. You guys are the best! Thanks for helping to make a horrible day better! :pray

:( so sorry. such a young pup too. she's very sweet looking.

i just went through kidney failure with a much much older dog. its not easy, and very hard to let go.

good luck with her in her remaining time with you.
