Hiccups

Postby Ranger » Thu Aug 26, 2004 9:37 am

Dirk has hiccups every day, when I took him to get his shots the other day I forgot to ask the vet about them. Is it a problem with diet or does anybody else have this problem?

Lola had them all the time when she was real little. I think it's pretty common.

It's perfectly normal for them to get the hiccups. Every pup I have ever had got the hiccups like every hour or so. Garion is 5 months now and still gets them a couple of times a day. They eventually stop getting them.

Guil is almost 5 years old and gets the hiccups at least once every few days ... Rosie, too. Also, Rosie gets them if she is scared of something (the cat picking on her, fireworks, seeing traffic cones...)

Sadie had them all the time when she was younger! She is now 15 weeks old and they have calmed down. She still gets them when she eats like a lil pig.
