Everyone... we missed our chance... Mr Gorgeous Boy was adopted. I know nothing of Haywards screening or education process but I do know that having someone there to promote these dogs and an adopter to get them out alive are good things indeed. This is my song for you Jet- hope you enjoy the good life, hot stuff...

Unfortunately, this shelter doesn't screen/educate adopters (we're working on it ... it's a long road). So chances of success are 50/50 at best. But hey, at least he got out and is now neutered. Good luck Jet. Hope you keep your little butt out of trouble!

Yeah, we got one of our most poorly behaved, dog reactive dogs from this shelter. The folks who were lined up to adopt him had a flexi-lead waiting and were all ready to shuffle him out to the dog park for some off leash fun. But Yay! he was getting adopted!

Thankfully one of our reps caught wind of the gameplan and elbowed her way in. Disaster averted ... but I don't even wanna know about the ones we miss.

Education, education, education.
