I have a red rednosed american pit bull for sale. she was whelped by accident on august 29 2004 to a big 110 lb all solid white american pit bull. i have to move on short notice and can not bring her. she is expected to drop her puppies in the end of october. i am asking 500.00 for her. she is not papered. i would love to keep her and sell the puppies but i am not able too. this is a steal considering pit bull puppies non papered usually go for the asking price for about 150.00- 250.00 per puppy. you can eitheir sell her puppies and keep her as a breeding program or keep all of them thats up to u. this is her second litter last litter she produced 9 beautiful puppies and sold all . that was her 3rd heat and this is her 4th heat 2nd litter. if intrested i have pics. email me if intrested.

This is from www.craigslist.org. If you were to go to the link there is spot in the upper R hand corner to "flag". FLag "Prohibited" specifically. Enough Flags and the ad gets pulled and and the poster gets a memo that it was pulled. No reason why is provided. It is an imperfect and reactive system, one many of us have labored over explaining to admins there. I think this ad especially slays me b/c of the inherent carelessness and disregard for this animal, her pups, and the breed in general. It is one of those moments that I know I am hearing directly from the enemy.

Worst part is... say whatever you want and post or send 'em sad pictures the original poster sees nothing wrong- and will continue to see nothing wrong- with their ways. This is one of those times I want to renig on my own advice to never buy a dog in rescue (don't make breeding profitable for the BYB) and that every unspayed female dog that gets sold is just one step away from being a pregnant pit bull. But this one pisses me off more than usual.

Indeed, there is special spot in hell for the original poster. Who peddles off their pit bull when she’s pregnant and encourages every *idiot* on CL to “start a breeding program”? For anyone who had not noticed there is really no need for more pit bulls or their puppies. To the person who bought her- now’s your big chance to do some good. ABORT THE DOG during her spay procedure. He’s lying about the sire. Try a dominance aggressive American Bulldog with a propensity for deafness, skin problems and food allergies (all-white). Dominance aggression is genetic and dogs having puppies is no picnic either http://www.pbrc.net/breeding2.html . Puppy illnesses, puppy vaccines, finding homes, living with yourself? I guess you’ll be spending some time with the POS you bought the dog from. BRING MARSHMELLOWS. I hear its rather warm there. $500.00…you got hammered.
