Hello Everyone,

My name is Matt, I am 29 YO, live in Sequim, WA, work at a sawmill/stud mill. I am the proud owner of an 80lb. rednose lapdog who was named "Mouse" by my mom to dispel first impressions LOL Mouse is my 2nd Pit Bull. My first dog "Mercedes" was stolen out of her kennel :po:

What got me into pit bulls? Well I am embarassed to say it but , I got my Mercedes as a sign of toughness, the whole biggest dog on the block thinking. But when I moved out on my own I started to appreciate the loyalty they have for their families. I did not raise Mercedes right, I did not socialize her with any other dogs so she was super dog aggressive. When my brother gave me Mouse I set out to atone for my earlier mistakes with Mercedes. Mouse has been extremely socialized, so much so that he is 2nd in the pack behind my Chihuhua/Poodle/Dachsund mix. Quite a funny sight to see a 12 lb rat hanging from Mouse's jowels while he submits LOL

I feed him 4 cups of Canidae a day after recently switching from Costco's NutraNuggets where he would eat 12 cups a day and beg for more.

Working at a sawmill I have a steady supply of steel so I just built him his second springpole. It is my 2nd generation design but I think we got it right and contemplating selling the mounting units on ebay or craigslist. My first design was shipping prohibitive, as it weighed 35 pounds and consisted of (3) 3 ft steel tubes with a 4 inch steel ring and enough welding to withstand an elephant. roflmao

Mouse is beautiful!

Nice to hear about your socializing Mouse (sweet name by the way). My Pit Bull is submissive to my two rat terriers, but they love him to death and he gets lots of little dog loveins. So I can relate to the little dog running the house.

I would be interested in what your spring pole design looks like. I love it when people are inventive enough to make their own stuff! That is really cool that you are considering marketing it. Maybe you could post a pic of Mouse working it!
